Think of a house call visit like a visit to your own primary care physician - we can help with anything from standard check-ups to skin irritations and allergies, geriatric issues, and your puppy’s first set of vaccines.
Our team will obtain medical records from your pet’s previous veterinary clinic(s) so we can review their complete medical history and arrive prepared for your appointment.
We can perform the examination in any area of the house you prefer - we find that pets are often most comfortable on the living room floor or coffee table. You may wish to provide them with their favorite blanket or toy to make them feel even more relaxed during the exam.
Your veterinarian will sometimes be accompanied by a veterinary technician to assist with handling or blood tests. We will take as long as you need at the appointment, performing a comprehensive physical exam, devising a treatment plan with you, and answering any questions. Appointments tend to be longer than in a clinic - averaging about 30 minutes per patient.
After the appointment, you will receive a summary email outlining everything that was discussed at the appointment and any plans for next steps. Should you need to book a recheck appointment, you can request the same veterinarian as desired. Our staff are also available around the clock to answer any questions that may arise after the appointment.
Continuity of care is very important. Our veterinarians review patient medical records from all previous clinics prior to each appointment.
You will never feel rushed with VetPronto. We deliberately schedule plenty of time to perform a complete examination and discuss any findings.
We understand that amazing veterinary care doesn't start and end with a single appointment. Feel free to call or email anytime.
